On Wednesday July 29th, 2009 Sri Sakthi Amma left for Sri Lanka directly from Singapore. The purpose of Amma’s trip is to visit the Refugee Camps in Northern Sri Lanka to deliver the much needed medical supplies and other aid to the Sri Lankan people affected by the recent war.
